The attributes of Military Wives
Military wives are made of a stronger fabric, many people might 
think of it this way. These women are always strong and try as much as they can to focus on the important aspects of their families without letting the absence of the husband derail them. Nevertheless, getting married to a soldier or any other man who has a career in the military is not bad idea. Once you fall in love, the rest is history. You can live a perfect life and enjoy your life to the fullest. However, there are some things that you must adopt. Here are some attributes that you need to incorporate in your personality:
1. Big heart: this means that you have to be supportive when time calls for that. When your husband is sent to a far off place, do not discourage him from going. Instead offer him some encouragement that will empower him to face the tough time ahead. Commitment is another thing. Military families are literally taken care of by the wife. You should do it with loyalty. There are many sacrifices that you have to make along the way. It is a good idea to consider others, top on the list, your husband. Duty in the army overshadows anything else. Millitary wives must always know this.
2. Patience: Your husband has to work on extended hours. The work schedule can even last for days and months on end. He might never be there when you need him but you have to understand and be patient with him. A military spouse is never reassured that she will have her partner’s support. There are so many activities to be done at the barracks which includes training and numerous deployments which can take a long time. To support him more, you should help the kids to understand the nature of his job.
3. Be free to relocate: military wives are always on the move. They have to move from one place to another according to the career demands of the husband. You have to be a people’s person and sociable. Most of your life, you will find yourself in a situation where you have to make new friends every now and then. You have to get some interactive ideas. This will make your life easy and fun.
4. Be the traditional wife: this one works all the time. When your husband comes home, treat him well. Do not nag him about his absence. He is also as disturbed as you are about the long distance between the two of you. An air force wife should look forward to the day the partner
